Every charge starts at the port, and on a phone charged daily for a few years that connector has done thousands of insertions. On the A04s the usual suspects are packed lint, worn contacts and pins bent by a sideways yank on the cable.
Rather than fiddling with the old connector, we fit a new original Samsung sub-board for the SM-A047F. The job is done in our own workshop and the price shown includes it.
Signs you need this repair
- Charges only while you hold the cable in place
- Stopped charging altogether overnight
- Different chargers, same problem
- Moisture detected message on a dry phone

Common questions
The phone stopped charging suddenly. Is it definitely the port?
Not definitely, which is why we test before we replace. A dead cable, a failed charger, deep battery discharge or a board fault can all look the same at first. If the port or its sub-board is the fault, the replacement fixes it, and we only proceed on what the test shows.
Will the repair fix slow charging too?
If the slowness comes from poor contact at a worn or dirty connector, yes, a new sub-board restores proper charging. If the battery or the charger is holding things back instead, we will say so after testing. You get the actual cause fixed, not a guess.
Can lint in the port really stop a phone charging?
Completely. Lint compacts at the bottom of the port every time the plug goes in, and eventually the plug cannot reach the pins. It is the single most common thing we find. Sometimes a professional clean is the whole fix, and we check that before replacing the board.
