When a Fold6 stops charging reliably, the port is the usual suspect and lint is the usual cause. Fluff from pockets packs hard at the base of the USB-C connector until the plug cannot seat, and beyond that, pins bend and contacts wear.
The port sits on a replaceable sub-board rather than the main board. We fit the original Samsung board for the SM-F956, with the fitting included in the price shown.

Common questions
Can I clean the port myself with a toothpick or compressed air?
We would not recommend it. The pins in a USB-C port are fine and easily bent, and compacted lint usually needs more than a puff of air. A slip with something sharp turns a cleaning job into a replacement. Let a technician clear it under proper light and magnification.
How do I know it is the port and not the charger?
Test with a different cable and wall adapter that you know work on another phone. If charging is still unreliable with known-good equipment, the fault is on the phone's side, and on the Fold6 that points to the USB sub-board this repair replaces.
Is this the same as a motherboard repair?
No, and that is the good news. The USB-C port lives on a small sub-board separate from the Fold6's main board. Replacing it is a contained repair using an original Samsung part, and your storage, screens and cameras are not involved in the work at all.
