Common questions
My S26 is quite new but the battery drains fast. Is the cell faulty?
Not necessarily. On a newish phone, heavy drain is more often an app, a weak signal area or settings than a worn cell. Run the diagnostics in Samsung Members and check battery usage per app first. If the hardware test flags the cell, replacement is the answer.
What wears a battery out fastest?
Heat and cycles. Leaving the phone in a hot car, gaming while charging and running flat to zero every day all age the chemistry faster. The wear is gradual and irreversible, which is why replacement is the fix once capacity has genuinely dropped. Good habits slow it, nothing undoes it.
