Common questions
How do I know it is the battery and not something else?
Run the battery diagnostic in the Samsung Members app, or just go by behaviour. If the phone drains quickly on standby, shuts down with charge remaining or needs a charger by lunchtime, the battery is the usual suspect on a phone this age. We confirm before replacing anything.
Is it worth replacing the battery on an S20 Ultra now?
If the rest of the phone is healthy, yes. The S20 Ultra still has a strong screen and camera, and a new original battery costs far less than replacing the phone. Most owners we see get years more use out of it after the swap.
Will my data be safe during the replacement?
A battery swap does not touch your storage, so photos, WhatsApp chats and apps stay where they are. We still recommend a backup before any repair, as we do with every phone, because it is good practice rather than because the job requires it.
