Common questions
Screen time has dropped from eight hours to three. Is that battery wear?
That is exactly what battery wear looks like. The cell's real capacity has shrunk with years of charge cycles, so the same phone now runs out far sooner. Software tweaks buy a little time, but only a new original battery actually restores the capacity.
Can I keep charging overnight after the new battery goes in?
