Common questions
The battery drains overnight even when I'm not using the phone. Normal?
Losing a few percent overnight is normal. Losing twenty or thirty points on standby is a worn battery struggling to hold charge. Rogue apps can contribute, so check the battery usage screen first, but on a 2019 phone heavy standby drain usually means the cell is due for replacement.
Do you fit original Samsung batteries in the S10+?
Yes, only originals. As an authorised Samsung service centre we fit the battery Samsung specifies for the SM-G975F, matched to its 4100mAh rating and charging profile. Generic cells often report wrong percentages and lose capacity quickly, so we do not use them. Part and fitting are included in the price shown.
Should anything be done before I bring the phone in?
A backup is the only preparation worth doing, either to Samsung Cloud or with Smart Switch to a computer. Your data is not affected by a battery replacement, but backing up before any phone is opened is good habit. Know your lock code too, since we test the phone after fitting.
