The A36 5G stretched this range's display to 6.7 inches, and a panel that size takes the hit in most drops. Because glass and AMOLED are bonded as one unit, glass damage and display damage get fixed by the same repair.

That repair is a complete original Samsung assembly for the A36 5G, fitted and calibrated by trained technicians, with the phone sealed up properly afterwards. Part and fitting are included in the price shown.

Common questions

My A36 is nearly new. Should the screen not be covered by warranty?

A cracked screen from a drop counts as accidental damage, which is not what a manufacturer warranty covers. A genuine display defect is a different story. As an authorised Samsung centre we can assess which one you are dealing with when you bring the phone in.

Is an original screen important on a phone this new?

Especially on a phone this new. A copy panel downgrades the 6.7 inch 120Hz AMOLED you paid for and can complicate future service. The original Samsung assembly keeps the phone exactly as Samsung built it, which matters for daily use and for resale later.

The crack is tiny. Will it really spread?

On bonded glass, almost always. Heat from charging, pressure in a pocket and ordinary flexing all work on a hairline crack until it runs. Moisture can also creep in through it and mark the display. A small crack is the cheapest stage at which to fix a screen.
