Victus+ glass shrugs off a lot, but no glass survives every drop. When the A35 5G's screen does crack, the 6.6 inch 120Hz Super AMOLED underneath is usually damaged with it, since the two are bonded as one assembly.

Why did my screen crack if it has Gorilla Glass Victus+?
Victus+ raises the odds of surviving a drop, it does not make glass unbreakable. Landing on a point, like a stone chip on tar, concentrates the force and beats any glass. The replacement panel is the original Samsung assembly, so you get the same protective glass again.
My A35 screen works but has a black spot spreading. What is that?
That is damaged AMOLED, usually from an impact that did not crack the glass. The spot is dead pixels and it tends to grow, so it will not settle down on its own. The fix is the same original panel replacement as for cracked glass, at the price shown.
Should I fit a screen protector after the replacement?
It is not compulsory, but it is cheap insurance on any phone. The replacement assembly carries the same glass the phone shipped with, and a good protector takes the everyday scratches and some of the impact so the glass underneath stays clean.
