USB-C ports fail the same way on every phone. Lint builds up, pins wear, and a bent contact from a forced cable finishes the job. The A35 5G is no exception, though its port sits on a replaceable sub-board, which keeps the repair clean.
We fit the original Samsung sub-board for the SM-A356E, then close and reseal the phone. Part and fitting are included in the price shown.

Common questions
Which chargers should I use once the port is repaired?
Any decent USB-C charger works, and the A35 supports Samsung fast charging with a suitable adapter and cable. Habits matter more than brands. Insert the cable straight, keep the port out of sandy or linty pockets, and the new socket will stay in good shape far longer.
Can a faulty port damage the battery?
Indirectly it can shorten its life. An intermittent connection means constant charge interruptions and sometimes heat at the connector, and neither does the cell any favours. Fixing a flaky port is partly about protecting the rest of the phone, not just convenience.
How do you confirm it is the port and not my cable?
We test the phone with known good cables and adapters on the bench, and inspect the socket for lint, wear and bent pins. Only if the socket itself is at fault do we go ahead with the sub-board replacement. You are told what we found either way.
