Common questions
Will the phone still be water resistant after a screen replacement?
The A33 5G's resistance comes from factory seals and adhesives, and we rebuild those with the correct Samsung materials during the repair. Samsung rates resistance on a factory-fresh phone, so treat any repaired phone with sensible caution around water, but the sealing is done to the official procedure.
My screen has a green line but no crack. Can that be fixed?
Yes. A line down the display is a panel fault rather than glass damage, and the fix is the same panel replacement. The new screen is the original Super AMOLED part for the SM-A336B, so the fault goes with the old panel. Part and fitting are included in the price shown.
Is it worth using original screens on a mid-range phone?
We think so, and not just because we are an authorised centre. The original panel matches the A33's 90Hz refresh rate, brightness and touch calibration, and it accepts the factory sealing properly. Aftermarket panels regularly fall short on all of those, and you notice it every day.
