Common questions
Does replacing the battery affect the water resistance?
The phone has to be opened, so the factory seal is disturbed. We reseal it with the correct Samsung adhesive as part of the job, following the official repair procedure. As with any opened phone, stay sensible around water afterwards, but the sealing is not an afterthought here.
Did charging overnight every night ruin my battery?
Not on its own. The phone manages full batteries reasonably well. What wears a cell is simply the number of charge cycles it has been through, plus heat. After a few years of daily use any lithium battery fades, however carefully it was charged.
How do I check my battery's health before booking?
Samsung's built-in diagnostics give a rough picture. Open the Samsung Members app and run the battery check under phone diagnostics. If it reports weak or bad, the cell is due. We also test the battery in person before fitting anything, so you get a proper reading either way.
