The A26 5G runs a 5000mAh cell, and like every battery it wears with charge cycles rather than birthdays. Heavy daily charging, heat and constant fast charging all bring that day forward.
When it arrives, the fix is an original Samsung battery fitted at our authorised centre. Because the A26 has a bonded glass back, this is a job for proper tools rather than a kitchen table. Part and fitting are included in the price shown.

Common questions
Can I replace the A26 battery myself?
We would not suggest it. The glass back is bonded with adhesive and has to be heated and lifted without cracking, and the battery itself should never be pried or bent. One slip cracks the glass or damages the cell, and either turns a small repair into a bigger one.
What habits make the battery last longer?
Heat is the main enemy. Avoid charging under pillows or in a hot car, and try not to run the phone completely flat as a routine. Samsung's battery protection settings, which can cap the maximum charge, also slow the wear that comes with charge cycles.
Does fast charging damage the A26 battery?
Not damage, but it adds heat, and heat accelerates the normal wear that comes with charge cycles. Using fast charging when you need it and slower charging overnight is a fair balance. When the cell does wear out, we fit the original Samsung replacement.
