Common questions
Does 5G really wear the battery faster?
5G itself does not damage the cell, but heavier drain means charging more often, and every charge cycle adds wear. A phone that hotspots or streams on mobile data all day simply gets through its battery's lifespan sooner than a lightly used one.
The battery shows 100 percent but drops to 80 in minutes. Why?
That gap between reported and real charge is classic cell wear. The battery can no longer hold what the gauge expects, so the reading collapses once real load arrives. A new original battery brings the gauge and reality back in line with each other.
Is it safe to charge the phone overnight while I wait for a repair?
If the battery is just weak, overnight charging is fine. If it is swollen, hot to the touch, or the back is lifting, stop charging it altogether and bring it in. A damaged cell left charging unattended is the one combination worth avoiding.
