A newer phone can still have a worn port. Every plug-in adds wear, lint arrives daily from pockets, and one skew cable can bend a pin in a second. The A25 5G is no exception to any of it.

The repair is a new USB sub-board, the small internal board that carries the charging socket, fitted as an original Samsung part. Part and fitting are included in the price shown.

Common questions

I got sand in my charging port at the beach. What should I do?

Do not plug in a cable, because that grinds the sand against the pins. Have the port inspected and cleaned first. Sand is abrasive, and if the contacts are already scratched or bent, replacing the sub-board is the reliable way back to solid charging.

The moisture warning has been on for days. Is the port broken?

Once the phone is genuinely dry, a stuck moisture warning often points at contamination or damage inside the socket rather than water. We inspect the port, clear out whatever the warning is reacting to, and replace the sub-board if the fault is in the hardware.

Will the repair keep my fast charging?

Yes. The original sub-board carries the same charging hardware the phone shipped with, so fast charging works as before with a suitable charger and cable. If fast charging faded gradually before the port failed completely, worn contacts were likely the cause all along.

Working out what is wrong

A phone that will not charge is not always the port.
