Common questions
How do I know it is the battery and not something else?
Age is the first clue. The A20 is a 2019 phone, and batteries wear with charge cycles, so rapid draining, sudden shutdowns and heat while charging on a phone this age usually point at the cell. We confirm on the bench before replacing anything.
My A20 is bulging at the back. Is that dangerous?
A bulging back usually means the battery has swollen, and a swollen cell should not be charged or pressed on. Stop charging it, keep it somewhere cool and bring it in. Replacing the battery normally lets the cover sit flat again if it has not cracked.
Is the replacement battery original Samsung?
