An A04e that charges only when the cable sits just right has a worn port, not an attitude problem. Pins bend, contacts wear, and pocket lint packs in so the plug never seats all the way.
The repair is a new original Samsung charging sub-board, fitted here in Umhlanga. Because the board comes out as a unit, the rest of the phone is left alone. Part and fitting are included in the price shown.

Common questions
The cable feels loose in my A04e. Is that fixable?
Yes. A loose fit means the port's grip contacts are worn or the opening is packed with lint. We clean and inspect it first. If the connector itself is worn, we replace the sub-board with the original part, and the plug will click in firmly again.
Can a faulty port damage my battery or the phone?
A worn port mostly just charges badly, but a shorted or corroded one can behave unpredictably, and repeated partial charging is hard on the battery over time. If charging has become erratic, have it looked at rather than living with it. Our assessment tells us exactly what is at fault.
Do I lose anything on the phone during a port repair?
No. The work is purely hardware and the storage is never touched, so apps, photos, messages and settings all stay put. A backup before any repair is still sensible, as it is with any phone work, but the port replacement itself does not involve your data at all.
