Common questions
My A04e says the battery is at 80 percent then dies. Why?
The percentage is an estimate based on the battery behaving like a healthy one. Worn cells fool that estimate, so the phone reads 80 percent while the real charge is nearly gone. Replacing the battery gives the phone honest numbers again and stops the sudden deaths.
Does a new battery help with the phone running hot?
Often, yes. Worn cells run hotter under charge and load because they resist the current more. If the heat comes together with fast draining, the battery is the likely cause. If the phone runs hot with a healthy battery, we look at other causes before recommending anything.
What happens to my old battery?
We take care of it. Lithium batteries do not belong in household rubbish, where they can vent or start fires, especially swollen ones. When we fit your new original Samsung battery, the old cell goes into proper battery disposal, and there is nothing you need to do with it.
