At 14.6 inches, the Ultra's panel spans the whole workspace, and damage rarely stays small. Cracks travel, AMOLED faults spread, and a tablet this size takes flex every time it is carried under an arm or packed flat.

Our repair replaces the full original assembly, calibrated for this model's 120Hz refresh rate and S Pen digitiser. Once fitted and sealed, the display performs exactly as it did out of the box. Part and fitting are included in the price shown.

Signs you need this repair

  • Crack spanning the width of the panel
  • Vertical band of dead pixels
  • Ghost touches while typing or drawing
  • One side of the display dimmer than the other
  • S Pen input jumps near the damaged area

Common questions

Do you actually get original 14.6 inch panels for the Ultra?

Yes. As an authorised Samsung service centre we order the genuine screen assembly for the SM-X916B directly through Samsung's parts channel. It is the same 14.6 inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X unit fitted at the factory, not a copy panel. The price shown for the repair already includes that part and the fitting.

I draw professionally on this tablet. Will pen accuracy change after the replacement?

No. The S Pen digitiser is built into the screen assembly, and the original Samsung part is calibrated for this model before it leaves the factory. Pressure levels, tilt and tracking behave the same as on the panel you bought the tablet with. Damage-related skipping or offset disappears with the old screen.

The tablet bent slightly in the same fall that cracked the screen. Can it still be repaired?

Often, yes, but we need to see it first. A slight bend can stop a new panel from seating and sealing properly, so our technicians check the frame before fitting the screen. If the chassis needs attention we will tell you exactly what is involved before any work goes ahead.
