AMOLED damage looks different from a cracked LCD. You might see a green or pink line, a dark smudge that grows over a few days, or a screen that lights up in patches. All of it means the panel is failing, and none of it heals.

We replace the display with the original Samsung Dynamic AMOLED 2X assembly for the SM-X826B, calibrated for this exact model, 120Hz refresh included. Part and fitting are included in the price shown.

Signs you need this repair

  • Thin green or pink line down the display
  • Black smudge under the glass that grows each day
  • Cracked glass with colours bleeding around the break
  • Screen flickers at low brightness

Common questions

A green line appeared without the tablet being dropped. Can that be fixed?

Yes, a screen replacement clears it. Vertical lines on AMOLED panels can appear without any impact, from a fault in the panel itself rather than anything you did. The line will not fade on its own, and it usually spreads. The original Samsung replacement panel resolves it completely.

Will S Pen input feel the same on the new screen?

It should feel exactly as it did, because the replacement is the original Samsung display assembly for the SM-X826B rather than an aftermarket copy. Generic panels are where S Pen trouble comes from, usually lag and offset strokes. We test S Pen input before handing the tablet back.

Can you replace just the outer glass to save on the cost?

No. Samsung supplies this display as one calibrated assembly, glass and AMOLED panel together, and that is what an authorised centre fits. Separating the glass from the panel is a shortcut we do not take, because the results are unreliable on a display of this quality.
