Every charge is a plug-in, and after a couple of years those insertions add up. The USB-C port on the S25+ wears at the contacts, collects lint at the bottom of the socket, and a yanked or skew cable can bend the pins inside.
The fix is a new USB sub-board, and we fit the original Samsung board at our Umhlanga centre. The part and the fitting are covered by the price shown.

Common questions
Is a loose port dangerous to keep using?
It is more a risk to the phone than to you. Intermittent contact means intermittent power, which strains the battery and can cause heat at the connector. If the cable wobbles or charging cuts in and out, keep an eye on heat and get the sub-board replaced soon.
Do you replace only the port or the board it sits on?
The port on the S25+ is part of a sub-board assembly, and we replace the whole assembly with the original Samsung part. That way every contact in the charging path is new, which is a more reliable repair than reworking a single worn connector on an old board.
My S25+ charges fine but no computer recognises it. Same problem?
Very likely. Charging uses the power pins and file transfer uses separate data pins, so a port can lose one and keep the other. Try another cable first, since charge-only cables exist. If a proper data cable changes nothing, the port's data pins have failed and the sub-board needs replacing.
