Common questions
How many years should the original battery last?
It is about cycles more than years. Most cells hold up well for around 500 full charge cycles, which for heavy users is roughly two years of daily charging. Light users get more. If your S25+ is fading noticeably within a day, the cycle count has caught up with it.
Can I check the battery's health myself before booking?
Yes. Open the Samsung Members app and run the diagnostics, which include a battery status check. It is a useful first step. If the app flags the battery, or the phone's behaviour says otherwise regardless of what the app reports, bring it in and we will test it properly.
Why fit an original Samsung battery instead of a cheaper cell?
Capacity ratings on cheap cells are often optimistic, and poorly made lithium batteries are a swelling and safety risk inside a sealed phone. The original Samsung part matches the phone's charging profile and fits the space exactly. As an authorised centre, original cells are the only ones we fit.
