Common questions
Will the S Pen work properly on the replacement screen?
Yes. The digitiser layer the pen writes on is part of the screen assembly, and the original Samsung part includes it, matched to this model. Pressure levels, hover and palm rejection behave as before. This is a real weakness of cheap panels, so the genuine part matters here.
Only the edge of my screen is cracked. Must the whole thing be replaced?
Yes, because the glass, the AMOLED panel and the pen digitiser are laminated into one assembly, curves included. There is no safe partial repair on this construction. The complete original assembly is what we fit, and the price shown covers that part and the fitting.
Is the fingerprint reader part of the screen?
The ultrasonic reader sits beneath the panel and reads through it, so it stays in the phone, but it only performs properly through a display built to Samsung's spec. With the original screen fitted we test unlocking before handover, and re-registering your fingerprints afterwards takes under a minute.
