The S22 Ultra runs a big 6.8 inch panel, an S Pen radio and a serious camera system off its 5000mAh battery, so the cell works hard. Batteries wear with charge cycles, and hard-working ones wear on schedule.
When yours fades, we fit the original Samsung battery for this model at our Umhlanga workshop. The figure shown is for the battery and the fitting as one price.
Signs you need this repair

Common questions
Does using the S Pen a lot drain the battery faster?
Barely. The S Pen sips power for its Bluetooth features and its charging draw is tiny. Screen brightness, cameras and mobile data dominate battery use on this phone. If your endurance has collapsed, the cause is almost always a worn cell rather than anything you are doing.
Is it safe to keep charging a phone that gets hot?
Warmth on a fast charger is normal, but a phone that gets properly hot on any charger, or heats up doing nothing, deserves attention. Heat accelerates battery wear and can signal a failing cell. Stop using damaged chargers and have the battery tested rather than pushing through it.
Will you check anything else while the phone is open?
The battery sits under the rear cover, so a technician has eyes on the charging board, coil and seals during the job and will flag anything that looks wrong. Tell us about any other niggles when you hand the phone in, so we know what to look for.
