Common questions
Do original A56 screens differ from the copies already on the market?
Substantially. Copies for new models are rushed out and it shows, with dimmer panels, wrong colour, poor touch response and fingerprint readers that fail. The original Samsung part is the panel the phone was engineered around, and it is what an authorised centre fits.
The screen cracked in the first month. Does insurance or warranty help?
Warranty covers manufacturing faults, not drops, so a cracked screen is normally an insurance or out of pocket repair. If you claim through insurance, repair documents from an authorised Samsung service centre are generally what insurers want to see, so you are covered on that front.
Will the new screen affect the phone's slim feel?
No. The original display assembly is the exact part the phone was built with, so thickness, fit and the feel of the glass do not change. Copies sometimes sit proud of the frame or flex under the thumb, which is another reason we do not fit them.
