Common questions
Why does everyone warn against cheap screens for the A54?
Because the shortcuts are visible. Copies for this model are usually dimmer, show washed out colour, and often break the in-display fingerprint reader or drain the battery faster. The original Samsung panel matches the factory specification, which is what the price shown includes along with fitting.
The phone fell and the glass is fine but now has a green tint. Same repair?
Yes. Tints, lines and colour shifts after a fall are panel damage even when the glass survived, because the AMOLED layer is more fragile than the glass above it. The display assembly is replaced as one unit and the tint goes with it.
Is the Always On Display supposed to mark the screen over time?
AMOLED panels can show faint burn-in after years of static images, though Samsung shifts pixels around to slow it down. Burn-in is panel wear, not a fault you can reverse, so if it bothers you the fix is the same display replacement as for a crack.
