Charging ports fail from ordinary use. Lint from pockets, thousands of insertions and the occasional sideways tug wear the A54's USB-C socket until it stops gripping the cable.
Rather than solder a new socket onto old connections, we replace the complete sub-board the port sits on, using an original Samsung part. It is the repair the phone was designed for. Part and fitting are included in the price shown.

Common questions
Fast charging suddenly stopped but normal charging still works. Why?
Fast charging needs clean communication between the charger and the phone through the port's pins. When some contacts wear or get dirty before the others do, fast charge drops out first. Rule out the cable and adapter, and if they are fine, the port sub-board is the fix.
Can a bad port damage my battery over time?
Indirectly, yes. Intermittent charging cycles the battery in shallow bursts and can leave it sitting at low charge for long stretches, which lithium cells dislike. Sorting the port out promptly protects the battery from that pattern and gets your routine back to normal.
Do you test the phone before replacing the port?
Yes. We confirm the fault is the port and not the cable, adapter, battery or software before fitting anything. It is quick to establish, and it means you only pay for the repair the phone actually needs rather than the one it seemed to need.
