Common questions
How do I know it is the battery and not something else?
Check Settings, Battery, and look at how fast the level falls with the screen off. If the phone drops overnight, dies well above zero percent or gets warm on light use, the cells are worn. We can test it at the counter before you commit to the repair.
Will I lose my photos and contacts during the battery swap?
No. The battery sits separately from the storage, so replacing it does not wipe anything. Your photos, contacts and apps stay exactly as they were. We still recommend a backup as good practice before any repair, but the work itself does not touch your data.
Is a swollen battery on my A03 dangerous?
It needs attention soon. A swollen battery pushes against the back cover and the screen from inside, and pressing on it or piercing it can make things worse. Stop charging the phone overnight, avoid squeezing it into a tight pocket and bring it in so we can replace it.
