Common questions
Will the tablet still be water resistant after the screen is replaced?
The Tab S9's IP68 rating comes from its factory seals, and any screen repair means opening those seals. We refit the new panel with fresh adhesive following Samsung's procedure, which is the right basis for keeping the seal intact. Even so, treat water resistance as protection against accidents rather than an invitation to swim with the tablet.
A green line appeared without the tablet being dropped. Can that be fixed?
Yes. A vertical line on an AMOLED panel is a fault inside the display itself, and it does not go away on its own. Replacing the screen assembly with the original Samsung part removes the line completely. Bring the tablet in and we will confirm the panel is the cause before going ahead.
Do you use the same screen Samsung fits at the factory?
We fit the original Samsung service part for this exact model, the same Dynamic AMOLED 2X assembly with the 120Hz refresh rate. As an authorised Samsung service centre we do not fit copies or refurbished panels. What you get back is the display the tablet was designed around, with part and fitting covered by the price shown.
