Common questions
Will my data still be on the tablet after the screen replacement?
Yes. A screen replacement does not touch the storage, so your apps, photos and files stay exactly where they are. We still suggest a backup before any repair, the same as we would for any device, but the work itself is limited to the display assembly.
The picture is fine but touch is not working. Do I still need a full screen?
Usually, yes. On the Tab S8 the touch layer and the display come as one bonded assembly, so Samsung supplies them as a single part. Fitting the complete assembly is also what keeps the repair reliable. Bring the tablet in and we will confirm the fault before any work starts.
Is a 2022 tablet still worth repairing?
