The Tab A8's 10.5 inch display is the whole point of the device, so once it is cracked, flickering or blotchy there is no working around it. Damaged panels also deteriorate, because pressure on the glass and moisture in the cracks keep spreading the fault.

We fit the original Samsung screen for the Wi-Fi model, the SM-X200. Tablet panels are made per model, and the correct part is half of a correct repair. Careful fitting is the other half, and both are included in the price shown.

Common questions

Is the Tab A8 worth repairing instead of replacing?

For most owners, yes. These tablets handle streaming, browsing and schoolwork as well as they ever did, and the screen is usually the only thing wrong. A repair with an original panel puts it straight back to work. Compare the live price on this page with any new tablet and decide from there.

Will my files and downloaded content survive the screen repair?

Yes. The repair replaces the display hardware and does not involve wiping the tablet, so accounts, photos and downloads stay in place. If the screen has been unusable, your data has been sitting there untouched all along. We still suggest a backup before any repair as a general habit.

How do I confirm I have the Wi-Fi model before booking?

Look for the model number SM-X200 under Settings, then About tablet, or printed on the back cover. No SIM tray also points to the Wi-Fi version. It matters because the screen part differs from the LTE model's, and we fit the part matched to your exact model.
