When an A72 will only charge with the cable propped at an angle, the USB-C port is usually worn. Lint from pockets and bags compacts at the bottom of the socket, and the pins bend or wear from years of plugging in.
The port lives on a sub-board, and we replace that board with an original Samsung part. Part and fitting are included in the price shown.

Common questions
Can you clean the port first before replacing anything?
Yes, and we always do. Compacted lint causes many of the charging problems we see, and a proper clean with the right tools sometimes solves it outright. If the connector itself is worn or damaged, we will show you and quote for the sub-board replacement.
My A72 says moisture detected all the time. Is that the port?
Usually. If the warning appears constantly, even when the phone is bone dry, the moisture sensor in the USB port area is often reading falsely due to residue or corrosion. Replacing the original sub-board sorts the sensor along with the port itself.
Will the microphone be affected by this repair?
The bottom microphone sits on the same sub-board as the charging port, so it is replaced along with the port as one original Samsung part. If callers have been struggling to hear you, this repair often fixes that at the same time.
