Common questions
My A34 is only a few years old. Is battery wear normal already?
It depends on cycles, not age. A phone charged twice daily gets through cycles at double the rate, and gaming, navigation and hotspot use all push the cell harder. If the battery is measurably degraded we will confirm it with a test before recommending the replacement.
Will a new battery fix slow charging?
It might, because worn cells accept charge more slowly, especially past 80 percent. But slow charging can also come from the cable, the adapter or a worn charging port. We test the phone first, so the part being replaced is the part causing the problem.
Is the battery you fit identical to the one in the phone?
It is the original Samsung service battery for the SM-A346E, the same capacity and specification as the factory cell. It is fitted by trained technicians at an authorised Samsung centre, the phone is sealed up correctly afterwards, and the part and fitting are included in the price shown.
