The Ultra gets charged hard, and the USB-C port takes the brunt of it. Lint packs into the socket from pockets and bags, contacts wear with thousands of insertions, and one skew plug can bend a pin.
Our repair replaces the complete USB sub-board with the original Samsung part, fitted by trained technicians at our authorised centre in Umhlanga. Part and labour sit inside the price shown.

Common questions
DeX keeps disconnecting. Could that be the port?
Yes. DeX over a cable runs through the USB-C data pins, and worn or dirty contacts drop the link even when charging still works. If DeX cuts out when the cable moves slightly, the port is the likely cause, and a new sub-board restores a solid connection.
Can lint really stop a phone from charging?
It is the most common cause we see. Every time you plug in, the cable compacts pocket lint deeper into the socket until the plug no longer seats fully. Have a careful look with a torch first. If cleaning does not fix it, the contacts underneath have worn.
Is the repair done here, or is the phone sent away?
The work happens at our own workshop in Umhlanga. We are a Samsung authorised service centre with trained technicians on site, so the sub-board replacement is done here with the original Samsung part. Your phone is not couriered off to a third party for the repair.
